The Factories Act, 1948

This is an Act to consolidate and amend the law regulating Labour in factories which came into force on 1st April, 1949. 


Some of the sections relevant to industrial health, hygiene and safety are reproduced below, in part, as such from The Factories Act, 1948, for the ready reference of the interested person. The number assigned to the paragraph is same as in The Act itself for that respective section.
